t'was a rainy day in the middle of december	and the rain kept pouring down	...and down....	Even on all the celebs visiting Kill Devil Hills	Finally it stopped and the smiles came back
Not much action, except for Air Force One doing a low pass	It was the only airplane to behold	since the whole area was under a TFR	Chuck Yeager talks to the drenched visitors	More celebs. Yep, that's Neil Armstrong...
Finally, 4 hours too late, it's time for a flight test	Waiting for the wind to pick up	Engine's running	Alas, not enough wind.	More waiting
and more waiting	Third time's a charm?	No. The Flyer is rolled back to its hangar	Show's over and time to head back!	The exodus from the First Flight site.
There will be another centennial in 2006.	Virginia Beach the next day. Brilliant sunshine	and plenty of wind...	A different type of flyer.	More Virginia Beach flyers
